An attorney based in Jacksonville, Florida, Fred’s legal practice focuses on complex business litigation, land use litigation, and other real estate matters. He is a former prosecutor and previously served as General Counsel for the City of Jacksonville and its independent authorities.

John Delaney has worked in three careers: law, government/politics and Higher Ed. 


He was the Chief Assistant State Attorney for the 4th Judicial Circuit (Jacksonville/Duval, Nassau and Clay counties. 


He served as Mayor of Jacksonville, due to a city/county consolidation the 10th largest city in population and the largest in land area. 


He served 15 years as President of the University of North Florida and a year as the Interim Chancellor of the State University System for Florida. 


He practiced law with the Rogers Towers law firm and also was a Principal with The Fiorentino Group doing business development and lobbying. 


He has served on three corporate boards (on the NYSE and NASDAQ) and dozens of non-profit boards, including hospitals, private K-12 schools, land conservation non-profits and charitable Foundations. He served as Chair of both the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce. 


He is married with four children and five grandchildren, and helped raise two other young relatives.

Marty Fiorentino is President of The Fiorentino Group, one of the largest and most recognized government affairs and business development firms in the State of Florida. Leading The Fiorentino Group, Marty provides expertise to clients and associates on a wide variety of issues including transportation and infrastructure, transit, maritime, local government, telecommunications, appropriations matters, and health care. In addition to his government relations role, Marty is also very active in local, state, and national politics. He is one of the “Florida 500”, a group of the 500 most influential executives in the state, as recognized by Florida Trend Magazine. 

 

Prior to forming The Fiorentino Group, Marty served Of Counsel to the law firm of Holland & Knight, and as Special Counsel to CSX Corporation. From 1995 to 1999, he served as Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs for CSX Transportation.  Prior to that, he was an attorney with the former Seaboard System Railroad. 

 

Marty served in the administration of President George H.W. Bush in Washington, D.C. There, he served as Chief of Staff of the Federal Railroad Administration, and Counselor to Deputy Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao. 


In 1999, Governor Jeb Bush appointed Marty to a four-year term on the Jacksonville Port Authority (JAXPORT), where he served as Chairman of the Board. JAXPORT managed Jacksonville’s three seaports and four airports, including the Jacksonville International Airport. In 2001, Marty led the successful effort to restructure the JPA into two separate authorities – the Jacksonville Seaport Authority and Jacksonville Airport Authority. Afterward, Governor Bush appointed Marty to the Jacksonville Seaport Authority, where he was elected its first chairman of the board. 

 With over 40 years of experience in design, engineering, and construction, Mike has played a pivotal role in shaping the industry, particularly in complex food processing, refrigeration, and commercial facilities.
